Hello Parents! I’m Razel from the Philippines and I’m an international student in Auckland. I am 40 joyfully single and during my free time I stay at home, read books for school, catch up with family in the Philippines along with chores. On Sundays, I attend church service and catch up with friends in Auckland. I get along with toddlers, and I can be animated and playful with them. My friends describe be as kind, friendly, warm, reliable, and highly trustworthy. I am committed to creating a safe and fun environment where children feel valued even at a moment. I’m confident managing routines, storytelling, conversations with toddlers and supporting household tasks when needed. I’m also a non-smoker, punctual and dependable for every family I work with.

Experience

I have experience caring for children 0-6 years old through my hands-on care for my nieces and nephews, a volunteer kindly kids church teacher at our local church where I support bible stories, arts and crafts, sing and dance. I also grew up with my 41-year-old brother with high-functioning autism, which has helped me develop exceptional patience, empathy, and understanding for children with diverse needs.

Why I love working with kids

I love working with kids firstly children are blessing from the Lord, and it being around with kids teaches me a lot and helps me better as a person. Their youthfulness, their innocence, their ability to be truthful and trustful. Also, I strongly believe these are formative age that will determine who they will be once they become an adult and I would like to add value in future generation.
